DALLAS, TEXAS, USA - April 3, 2019 / / —

Arts N Beats, the immersive and interactive, arts and music, pop-up experience returns to Dallas, Texas on Saturday April 13th. The 3rd Annual Arts N Beats, presented by Corona Premier is taking place in the Design District from 8 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. in celebration of Dallas Art Month, while benefitting The Pursuit of Hope, a social movement for impaired individuals.

Arts N Beats will host a network of local influencers, artists, fashion designers, models, and talent performers with an exclusive VIP Premier Lounge within the event.

Music will feature Dallas’ very own DJ Souljah spinning the beats throughout the night, along with a guest performance by Santi Mizael, and headlining Pop-Soul and R&B artist, Reva DeVito, from Portland, Oregon. Entertainment will include live cirque performances by Dallas based Marianne Shih, Abraham Hwang, and Frank Chapman.

Gerardo Robles, Cultural Programs coordinator at the Oak Cliff Cultural Center, who has successfully curated several art exhibitions over the past six years, is helping curate this year’s art exhibition featuring some of the best influential artists who are making a powerful impact in the Dallas community. Amongst those artists is Desmond Blair, who was born with no fingers and taught himself to write and paint using his feet, mouth, and both hands to overcome what seemed to be an impossible obstacle. His message today is this—you too can become the master of your soul and achieve divine passion in your work and life—no matter what the hurdles. Desmond’s abilities will demonstrate this in a live art performance to raise awareness for the cause.

Other participating artists include:
Realist and surrealist Santiago II Aguirre, Muralist and Illustrator Mariell Guzman, Mixed-Media master Austin James, Pop-Culture influencer from Los Angeles Ugly Primo, among other Dallas local artists Adriane McMillon, Michael McPheeters, and Rob Smiljcic. As part of the Arts N Beats experience, VR Interactive Art will be taking place within an experiential room.

Irene’s Bakery, known for mixing art and flavor to celebrate life will be implementing a Dessert-Inspired Art Installation featuring an extravagant themed cake and cake balls to pass around to guests and celebrate Dallas Arts Month.

This year’s fashion show will feature pieces from Dallas-local elite boutiques Centre and Golden Flamant Swimwear alongside designers Rulli Torres, and Mar Hernandez. The fashion showcase will be coordinated by the ladies from Bella Modeling.
