Leeds, United Kingdom - March 14, 2018 /PressCable/ —

Eton Jones are celebrating the expansion of their removals service to cover the whole of West Yorkshire. Previously focusing on just Leeds and the surrounding areas, the business is now excited to be able to offer their services to customers in Bradford, Harrogate, and other areas across West Yorkshire. Further information can be found at https://www.etonjones.com where you can view testimonials from some of their previous clients.

Eton Jones, a family run removals business, has served clients across Leeds and is excited to now broaden its coverage to include all of West Yorkshire. While most businesses tend to just offer a standard service, Eton Jones pride themselves on providing an exceptional customer experience and expect to become one of the top providers of domestic removals services for West Yorkshire in the next 12 months.

Chris Rogers, Managing Director for Eton Jones, West Yorkshire who are based near Roundhay, Leeds, says: “The Removals industry across West Yorkshire and beyond had become stagnant. We saw outdated methods and poor safety practices over inflating costs to the customer for a service often provided by unhappy, under-paid staff.”

“Our company have invested in their employees, creating teams that work together every day in a safe and supportive environment. We also provide inclusive solutions, including a full packaging and unpacking service. Whereas other operators are either long haul or man with a van, we have adaptable vehicles and teams to make sure they can cover a whole range of jobs cost effectively for our valued customers”

There are now nearly 3 Million people living in the West Yorkshire area. With a recovering housing market and more upwardly mobile people moving to the area, the demand for high performance, affordable, removals is greater than it has ever been. This is a great development for the people of this area to have a local success story that cares about them and that can offer a genuinely great service.

Chris Rogers also added “Ultimately people are putting total trust in us. They are allowing us into their homes and we have to show them complete respect. We only employ people that are polite, courteous, and capable. We would never employ anyone that we wouldn’t be completely happy allowing into our own home”. Our staff are well rewarded, and they deserve to be, they really are outstanding at what they do”.

Robot designed for faster, safer uranium plant pipe cleanup

Apr 23, 2018

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio crews cleaning up a massive former Cold War-era uranium enrichment plant in Ohio plan this summer to deploy a high-tech helper: an autonomous, radiation-measuring robot that will roll through miles of large overhead pipes to spot potentially hazardous residual uranium. Officials say it's safer, more accurate and tremendously faster than having workers take external measurements to identify which pipes need to be removed and decontaminated at the Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant in Piketon. They say it could save taxpayers tens of millions of dollars on cleanups of that site and one near Paducah, Kentucky, which for...

Audit clears Facebook despite Cambridge Analytica leaks

Apr 23, 2018

NEW YORK — An audit of Facebook's privacy practices for the Federal Trade Commission found no problems even though the company knew at the time that a data-mining firm improperly obtained private data from millions of users — raising questions about the usefulness of such audits. Facebook agreed to outside audits every two years as part of a 2011 settlement with the FTC over its privacy practices. It is not clear from the report whether the company informed PricewaterhouseCoopers, which performed the audit, of the Cambridge Analytica data grab that would put Facebook in the crosshairs of Congress. The heavily...

Cybersecurity expert's case delayed as new details emerge

Apr 23, 2018

MILWAUKEE — The case of British cybersecurity expert once heralded as a hero for stopping the WannaCry worldwide computer virus was delayed Thursday to allow his attorneys more time to prepare arguments on why a judge should suppress statements he made after his arrest for allegedly creating software to steal banking passwords. Marcus Hutchins, 23, pleaded not guilty after his arrest last year in Las Vegas before he boarded a flight home to England. U.S. prosecutors say Hutchins created and distributed malware known as Kronos and made incriminating statements to FBI agents after his arrest and in two jailhouse phone...

MILWAUKEE — The Latest on the criminal case of a British cybersecurity expert once heralded as a hero for stopping the WannaCry worldwide computer virus (all times local): 3:25 p.m. Attorneys for a British cybersecurity expert credited with stopping a computer virus have been given more time to prepare for arguments on whether to suppress statements he made to the FBI after his arrest on criminal indictment.
